Pattern Desk

Deliberate candle drills before the next cash open

The Pattern Desk is where Studio and Clinic participants harden the habit: read candlesticks against structure under a clock, then hear how others scored the same chart.

How a desk session runs

  1. Warm-up print

One shared chart with candles visible. You write a one-line thesis — confirm, wait, or veto — before discussion starts.

  2. Timed unmarked sets

Five charts with outcomes covered. Ninety seconds each to mark the level, the candle relative to context, and your decision.

  3. Open debrief

We uncover the follow-through and compare notes. Disagreement is expected; the goal is a clearer personal veto, not consensus theatre.

  4. Take-home sheet

One drill for the week using a market you already trade — ASX names, indices, or FX pairs.

What you practise

Desks stay narrow on purpose — candlestick context only, so the habit sticks.

  • Engulfing bars that fail to hold beyond a prior swing
  • Hammers at support and the next-session test
  • Doji clusters at resistance after an extended run
  • Thin afternoon prints on ASX names versus morning acceptance
